Showtime has made the series premiere of its new weekly late-night show Desus & Mero available for free, in case you wanna get hooked on their Bronx-bred brand of rapid-fire humor.

The show is hosted by comedians Desus Nice and The Kid Mero, who rose from Twitter to become a voice of a generation. It's basically a continuation of their late, great Viceland show, with a bigger budget and more sketches (the series premiere features a savage Green Book parody). They riff on the news of the day (they're very concerned about hopefully future New York Knick Zion Williamson's foot), do some skits and interview fellow BX icon Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, including a visit to her office in D.C.

Desus & Mero is a different kind of show for the network that brings you Ray Donovan, so Showtime is doing a special promotion for Bodega Hive members -- $4.99 a month for six months after a 30-day free trial.

Desus & Mero airs Thursdays at 11/10c on Showtime.

(Disclosure: TV Guide is owned by CBS Interactive, a division of CBS Corporation, Showtime's parent company.)
