The Federal Communications Commission has rejected CBS' appeal and is fining 20 of the network's stations $550,000 for Janet Jackson's 2004 wardrobe malfunction, according to the Associated Press. (Would they have been charged twice if both of her gazongas had gotten loose? The mind wobbles.) At the same time, the government agency is slapping dozens of Eye affiliates with a record-breaking $3.6 million penalty for broadcasting a 2004 episode of Without a Trace that included scenes from a teenage orgy. Crap... and here I thought my TiVo knew to record anything with the word "orgy" in the description!
