WAR SOARS, DANCE STUMBLES

Maybe it is a popular war after all? The Wednesday premiere of Over There, Steven Bochco's new Iraq war drama for FX, recruited an impressive 4.1 million viewers, making it the night's most-watched show on cable. Over There's debut almost matched that of sister show Rescue Me, but fell shy of besting The Shield's series premiere. Meanwhile, Fox's So You Think You Can Dance (or as I like to call it, "So You Think You Can Give Me a More Annoying Title to Type") lost more than two million eyeballs with its second outing, pulling in eight million popping and locking aficionados.
