Vanessa Hudgens Shares Message of Thanks After Grease: Live and Father's Death

Vanessa Hudgens turned in a great performance as Rizzo in Grease: Live on Sunday despite the tragic death of her father the day before. On Monday, she said thank you to her fans and supporters in an Instagram post.

"I can't believe @gogrease is OVER! Grand opening and grand closing," she captioned a still from her performance of "There Are Worse Things I Could Do."

"Thank you to everyone who watched and supported me last night," she wrote. Doing #greaselive was one of the most incredible experiences and I'm so glad you guys liked it as much as I did. Till next time Rizz #PinkLadyForLife."

Vanessa Hudgens dedicates Grease: Live to her father

Hudgens dedicated her performance in Grease: Live to her father Greg, who passed away from cancer on Saturday.

After the final scene, the end credits paid tribute to Hudgens' father. "In loving memory of Greg Hudgens. June 22, 1950 - January 30, 2016," the tribute read.
