HBO Sets Premiere Dates for True Blood, Damon Lindelof's The Leftovers

HBO is filling out its summer lineup. The cable network has announced June premiere dates for True Blood, as well as the debut of Damon Lindelof's new series The Leftovers.

True Blood will return on Sunday, June 22 at 9/8c. The 10-episode season will be the long-running vampire series' last.

The best and worst series finales

The Leftovers kicks off its 10-episode freshman season on Sunday, June 15 at 10/9c, following the Season 4 finale of Game of Thrones. Based on Tom Perrotta's bestselling novel of the same name, the series follows a group of people who may have lived through The Rapture. The cast includes Justin Theroux, Amy Brenneman and Liv Tyler.
