After being released from Augusta, Ga.'s Doctors Hospital on Monday, Travis Barker is en route to Los Angeles on a bus, People reports.

"He's on a bus headed to L.A." a source told the magazine. "Trust me, he will never fly again - ever."

The former Blink-182 drummer was released nine days after surviving a jet crash that killed four and severely injured him and DJ AM. DJ AM was discharged last Friday.

Among the dead is Barker's personal assistant Chris Baker, whose memorial service was held Monday afternoon in Los Angeles and was attended by DJ AM (real name: Adam Goldstein).

Arriving in a limousine, the 35-year-old wore a green polo shirt, at Baker's wife's request, as that was Baker's favorite color.

Baker is survived by wife Otillia Villar and their son Sebastian, 2.

According to a source, Barker "felt so bad to have missed [the service]." - Joyce Eng
