Tracy Morgan's 30 Rock Colleagues Show Up for His Return to Saturday Night Live

Plus: Larry David does a killer Bernie Sanders

Liz Raftery

Tracy Morgan made his much-anticipated return to Saturday Night Live this weekend, his first time returning to TV since his car accident last summer (aside from a surprise appearance at the Emmys).

Also returning to Studio 8H were Morgan's former 30 Rockco-stars Tina Fey (who also offered commentary on Playboy's decision to stop publishing nude photos), Jane Krakowski, Alec Baldwin and Jack McBrayer, and his legendary character Brian Fellow.

But the real star of the show may have been Larry David, who showed up to play Bernie Sanders for the Democratic debate cold open. (Please, SNL gods, don't let this be a one-off appearance.)

The best SNL cast members of all time, ranked

Check out highlights from the episode here:

Democratic debate cold open: Hillary Clinton (Kate McKinnon), Bernie Sanders (Larry David), Jim Webb (Alec Baldwin), Lincoln Chafee (Kyle Mooney) and Martin O'Malley (Taran Killam) square off at the Democratic presidential debate, hosted by Anderson Cooper (Jon Rudnitsky).

Tracy Morgan monologue: Tracy Morgan's recovery reminds him of a 2012 episode of 30 Rock. (Come for the cameos, stay for the amazing Smash joke.)

Family Feud: This episode of Family Feud pits a recently remarried man (Tracy Morgan) against his ex-wife (Leslie Jones) and their children.

Brian Fellow's Safari Planet: Brian Fellow is back! This time, his guests are a camel and a beaver.

Tina Fey on Playboy: In this "Weekend Update" segment, Tina Fey shows us the Playboy poses she's been practicing since she was a little girl, which will now never see the light of day.
