Even if you haven't heard of the retro-soul act Sharon Jones and the Dap-Kings, odds are you've heard the band (sans Jones) in action: The group backed Amy Winehouse on much of Back to Black, including the hit "Rehab." Here, Jones and band display their soul chops with selections from their 2007 CD 100 Days, 100 Nights. Then, Carolyn Wonderland demonstrates her blues-rock prowess with songs from her 2007 album, Miss Understood. — Jeff Gemmill

Mail Order Bride

Hallmark kicks off an 11-week run of Saturday-night original movie premieres tonight with this period piece about love and lies in the Old West. Daphne Zuniga stars as a con woman who, after tiring of her life of crime, decides to make a fresh start by posing as a recently deceased friend who was engaged to a Wyoming rancher (Cameron Bancroft) she'd never met. Sure, it's not the most conventional start to a marriage, but it sure beats the dating scene. — Brie Hearn

The series opener of this new comedy follows the career of True Jackson, a fashion-loving teenager who gets hired to head the youth division of a major NYC fashion label. She gets all the perks that come with being a vice president, such as an assistant and a fancy office, and all the drawbacks as well, such as the envy and cattiness of some of her new coworkers. Soon she realizes that if she can deal with mean girls and cliques in high school, she can deal with them in the corporate world, too. — Jennifer Sankowski
