After some recent highly charged episodes, this one settles down and relies more on furthering the plot and establishing deeper character development. "Safe and cautious" Skyler uses her accounting expertise to ensure that laundering Walt's money doesn't leave them awash in financial complications. And Jesse makes a new friend at his narcotics support group, and she inadvertently lets him in on a secret about a murdered dealer and, more surprisingly, just who it was who pulled the trigger. — Ray Stackhouse

"Ladies and Gentlemen, start your engines" may get a bit more emphasis on the "ladies" this year, as a record four women have made the 33-car field at the Brickyard. Joining Indy veterans Danica Patrick and Sarah Fisher are rookies Ana Beatriz of Brazil and Simona de Silvestro of Switzerland. Last Saturday's qualifying runs saw three-time winner and defending champ Helio Castroneves scoot to his fourth Indy pole, giving him a decent chance to become the fourth man with four 500 victories. — Dave Roeder

After a brief pit stop at the picnic table, motor-sports junkies shift from Indianapolis to North Carolina for the second half of the longest day in racing, from Charlotte Motor Speedway. The day is extra-special for Indiana native Tony Stewart, a five-time Indy 500 driver (best finish was fifth) who has yet to put his No. 14 Chevy into victory lane this season and is currently outside the Top 12 in points needed to make NASCAR's playoff chase. That's certainly not the case for four-time series champ Jimmie Johnson (fourth in points), whose six Charlotte wins equal the record of Bobby Allison and Fox analyst Darrell Waltrip. — Roger Leister

Gary Sinise and Joe Mantegna host the annual tribute to the service and sacrifice of America's military personnel from the West Lawn of the U.S. Capitol, which this year honors Korean War veterans and the sacrifices of military widows whose spouses served in Iraq and Afghanistan. The night's entertainers are expected to include Lionel Richie, Brad Paisley, classical crossover star Katherine Jenkins, Broadway's Kelli O'Hara, gospel music's Yolanda Adams and the National Symphony Orchestra under the baton of conductor Jack Everly. — Jeff Gemmill

Claire Robinson (5 Ingredient Fix) hosts this all-star grill-off, which pits three female chefs (Sunny Anderson, Melissa d'Arabian, Aida Mollenkamp) against three male chefs (Adam Gertler, Michael Symon, Aaron McCargo Jr.) in a battle of the sexes consisting of three rounds of competition.
