Tom Cruise Strikes a Deal with WGA

Much in the same way that David Letterman's Worldwide Pants cut a deal with the WGA to get Late Show and Late Late Show scribes back to work, Tom Cruise and Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer's United Artists announced Monday that it had reached an agreement with the union that will allow its members to stop using their laptops as really big, expensive coasters. — Ben Katner
