Sunday's episode of The Walking Dead will fully immerse viewers in the new post-Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) reality. And a big part of that is an introduction to a new and improved Eugene (Josh McDermitt). He's in the best shape he's ever been, can kill zombies fearlessly and is direct about his intentions. Most strikingly of all, his mullet is long gone, replaced by a ponytail in the first time jump and long braid in the second.
This new gangsta Eugene is willing to climb up a water tower and place a radio transmitter at Rosita's (Christian Serratos) request, and it's not even for her, it's for Father Gabriel (Seth Gilliam). This is where we find him at the start of the exclusive clip above. But when a walker herd that was heading in the opposite direction suddenly changes course (hmm, what's that about?) and comes back toward Eugene and Rosita, he has to make a hasty exit.
Easier said than done.
The Walking Dead airs Sundays at 9/8c on AMC.
