Even though it might have felt like a fever dream, the Suitsspin-off is still happening. And we know it is still happening because four actors have been cast in the new series, which follows Gina Torres' badass lawyer Jessica Pearson as she tackles politics in the Windy City.

According to Deadline, Bethany Joy Lenz, who is best known as Haley James Scott fromOne Tree Hill, is taking over the role of city attorney Keri Allen in recasting -- Rebecca Rittenhouse played the character in the Suits' Season 7 finale, which also functioned as the spin-off's backdoor pilot. Keri is described as being the "unofficial right hand" of Mayor Bobby Golec, who is played by Homeland alum Morgan Spector.

Gina Torres' Spin-Off Is Much Darker Than Suits

Joining Lenz as a new series regular is Chantel Riley (currently appearing on Syfy's Wynonna Earp), who is reprising her role as Angela Cook from the backdoor pilot. Angela is a nursing assistant and also Jessica's cousin. Isabel Arraiza (The Oath) and Eli Goree (Riverdale) have been cast as Jessica's assistant Yoli Castillo and Golec's press secretary Derrick Mayes, respectively. Simon Kassianides (Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.) also stars in the series as a former police officer who now serves as Golec's driver but who naturally (because this is a TV show) has mysterious ties to a major developer in Chicago.

Apparently there's no turning back now. The Suits spin-off is officially happening, people. Oh well, maybe there is still time to change the title to something other than Second City?
