Fraiser alum Jane Leeves has officially arrived on The Resident and in TV Guide's exclusive clip from her first episode, she seems to be quite a handful for Randolph Bell (Bruce Greenwood).

Leeves plays Dr. Kit Voss, an orthopedic surgeon on the hunt for a better resident. In our clip, Voss is demanding Bell find her a suitable replacement or she'll take one of the fancy jobs being offered to her elsewhere, confirming she's a big asset for the hospital. Considering all the drama Chastain has had over the past few months, losing a marquee surgeon is not something that Bell is particularly interested in at this moment.

What's more intriguing is that Voss doesn't care about Bell's grandstanding or CEO nonsense. It's obvious she considers herself to be as talented as he is, or was, in an operating room and she's using that to make sure she gets what she wants. We respect it, and you know Bell would do the same in her shoes. It looks like he respects it too, even though he's not sure what to do with her request.

Who is gong to end up on her service though, and can they go toe-to-toe with her better than Bell?

The Resident airs Mondays at 8/9c on Fox.
