Summer TV can often be kind of a snore, but The CW is the exception to that rule. Thanks to the many reduced episode counts the network gave out this past season, hits like The Originals, Supergirl, and The 100 have officially made their way onto the summer lineup, and they'll soon be joined by The Outpost and Burden of Truth, though you'll have to wait a little longer than expected for those two.

The CW announced new premiere information for their new summer series, with The Outpost getting pushed back to the 9pm hour and Burden of Truth getting bumped a whole two weeks

The Outpost, which will now premiere Tuesday, July 10 at 9/8c, tells the story of Talon (Jessica Green), the lone survivor of a race called "Blackbloods." On a journey to track down her family's killers, Talon discovers she possesses a mysterious supernatural power that she must learn to control.

CW fans will definitely recognize the star of The CW's other summer series from her time on Beauty and the Beast. Kristin Kreuk's Burden of Truth will now premiere Wednesday, July 25 at 8/7c. Burden of Truth follows attorney Joanna Hanley (Kreuk) as she returns to her hometown to help defend a major pharmaceutical company in court but slowly starts to realize she might be on the wrong side of that fight.

(Full disclosure: TV Guide is owned by CBS, one of The CW's parent companies.)
