Ready to watch something new on Netflix this November? Here is a list of all the best new shows and movies released on Netflix this week.

Guys, there are 18 new options from Netflix coming this week, so you may as well skip this intro so you can get started on watching all of them. But if you insist on hearing me ramble before you get to the good stuff, then let me tell you that this is one of the more packed weeks Netflix has ever done. There's a new season of a steady favorite, an acclaimed new movie from one of Tinseltown's greatest filmmaking teams, and -- maybe because of Thanksgiving break -- an absurd amount of new kids shows.

The Biggest Releases

Narcos: Mexico, Season 4
OK, technically this is the first season of a companion series to the original, but it's more of the same drug-running, dealer-slaughtering action you love from the first, so let's just call it Season 4. However, it is different in that the drama moves from Colombia to Mexico, where the infancy of the country's still persistent drug war is detailed. Michael Pena stars as a Mexican-American DEA agent trying to take down a cartel from Guadalajara, so let's all wish him luck, because he'll need it. If you liked Narcos, you'll like Narcos: Mexico.

The Ballad of Buster Scruggs
This comes from the Coen brothers, so just watch it. But if you need details, the film is comprised of six tales from the Wild West, and, according to early reviews, the shifting tone bends closer to the tragic absurdity of Raising Arizona than the straight weird seriousness of No Country for Old Men. James Franco, Liam Neeson and Zoe Kazan star. After you're done, you can go back to shooting rabbits and growing a mustache in Red Dead Redemption 2. (Trailer)

The Kominsky Method, Season 1
Two and a Half Men creator Chuck Lorre grows up -- barely -- in this comedy about going grey and finding weird splotches on your skin. Michael Douglas plays an acting coach in Los Angeles dealing with getting old, and Alan Arkin plays his BFF and agent dealing with loss. Their friendship forms the shrinking backbone of this heartfelt series, and Arkin is a wonder. But seeing that this is a Lorre project, definitely expect lots of boner innuendos and cracks about old people doin' it. And I mean lots. (Trailer)

Cam
Strippers are soooooo 2015. The new hotness in squeezing cash out of lonely men are camgirls, women who perform online for cyber-tips, and dammit, it's about time we got a movie about it. Cam takes the titillation and turns it into a suspenseful psychological thriller when a camgirl finds that her account has been taken over by a lookalike. It's almost enough to make me stop cammanning! (Trailer)

Here Are the 100 Best Shows Right Now

Ponysitters Club, Season 2
A group of tweens or teens -- I don't know, they're all the same to me -- help rehabilitate animals on a family farm and one of them freaks out when someone wants to adopt one of the ponies. But, according to the trailer, they frequently wear helmets, so good on them for putting safety first! (Trailer)

Prince of Peoria, Season 1
OK, I'm pretty sure these are actual teens. The young prince of some made-up country assumes a false identity and attends a normie high school, where he befriends a regular kid who likes robots. Watch the trailer for the prince's incredible accent! (Trailer)

The Princess Switch
I don't want to say we've seen this premise 10,000 times, so I'll say we've seen it 9,999 times. A regular and very relatable bakery worker crosses paths with an honest-to-goodness princess who looks just like her, and GUESS WHAT HAPPENS NEXT!?!? They switch places! Vanessa Hudgens undoes all the edgy cred she earned from Spring Breakers as the lookalikes, and that guy who was Gunnar from Nashville plays the stuffy prince the baker inevitably falls for. The Last Kingdom, Season 3
Game of Thrones doesn't return until next April, so tide yourself over with this period drama about brawny sword battles in 9th Century England. Except in this one, no one bones their auntie. (Monday, Nov. 19 / Trailer)

The Final Table, Season 1
After whetting our appetites with a million different cooking shows, Netflix gives the cooking competition genre a shot in this Iron Chef ripoff homage. Chefs from all over the world compete, and to be honest, it's just like all the other cooking competition shows. (Tuesday, Nov. 20 / Trailer)

Kulipari: Dreamwalker, Season 1
Weird frog-like warriors with magic powers battle evil-looking dudes in another animated series that makes very little sense. (Trailer)

Motown Magic, Season 1
This animated kids program sounds like two people had an idea for a show and neither budged in a game of Chicken to see who would back down first, so the series became both ideas. A young boy living in a town called Motown has a magical paintbrush that he uses as an outlet for his imagination AND the show is full of reworked classic Motown tunes that everyone sings. Sabrina
Chilling adventures doesn't even begin to describe this international horror movie that's unfortunately named and timed too close to the recently released teenage witch series. A young girl summons a demon that possesses a doll, and then other people get possessed by demons and they all kind of look like that doll and it's really freaky. And at no point does it spend five episodes going over the legality of Satanic contracts. (Tuesday, Nov. 20 / Trailer)

Trevor Noah: Son of Patricia
How does Trevor Noah have time to do a stand-up special? Exactly how "daily" is The Daily Show, hmm? (Tuesday, Nov. 20 / Trailer)

The Tribe
There's no trailer for this film, so I'll just repeat the description here and see if you can make sense of it, because I sure can't: "An executive-turned-viral-sensation loses his reputation and his memory, but finds a new life with his biological mother and her empowered dance group." The Christmas Chronicles
Kurt Russell plays a sassy Santa Claus when two siblings nearly ruin Christmas by making him crash his sleigh, and along the way everyone will become a believer, even the jaded older brother! Ho, ho, ho boy. (Thursday, Nov. 22 / Trailer)

Mystery Science Theater 3000, Season 2
Your Thanksgiving will be full of people loudly talking over each other so why not watch the latest season of the cult classic where robots talk over movies instead? At least they'll be funny. (Thursday, Nov. 22 / Trailer)
