The reality star took to Twitter Wednesday to explain the incident. Evans claims that that her license was suspended after she paid a ticket from 2013 three days late, but that she was never notified of the suspension.
How r u going to suspended my license becuz a seat belt ticket was paid 3 days late back in 2013 ?!
Soooo the NC DMV suspends my license last month then doesn't tell me?! Niiiiice. Got my license back tho. 😏
This isn't Evans' first brush with the law. She was arrested in April 2013 for heroin possession and for allegedly assaulting her then-husband Courtland Rogers. That August, she pleaded guilty to possession of drug paraphernalia, but later violated her probation by testing positive for marijuana. Four months after that, she was arrested for attacking her now-fiancé Nathan Griffith while she was pregnant with her second child.
