An unidentified man was at the top of a building in downtown Atlanta where DJ Ryan Cameron broadcasts his radio show. When T.I. heard about the situation, he called Cameron to see what he could do. The rapper then met with the police in front of the building, where he recorded the following video message: "Nothing is that bad. Nothing in life is worth taking your life. I'm here to help you. Please come down to talk to me."
Upon watching, the man got down from the ledge and met T.I. in the lobby. He was taken into police custody, but authorities are not expected to press charges against him.
T.I. (né Clifford Joseph Harris, Jr.), 30, was arrested last month on drug charges. He previously spent seven months in prison on federal weapons charges. He is on three years' probation.
