Supergirl Is Becoming A Family Affair For Melissa Benoist

It's a Glee (and family!) reunion for Melissa Benoist on Supergirl: Her real-life husband Blake Jenner will be joining the show as a potential love interest for Kara, TVLine reports.

Benoist and Jenner met on the set of Glee where they were both freshman New Direction members after the original crew went off to college.

Now, Jenner will play Adam Foster, "a handsome stranger from Cat Grant's (Calista Flockhart) past whose arrival in National City tests Kara and Cat's relationship like never before." As if Kara needed to add boy trouble to her strained relationship with her boss!

Supergirl's Mehcad Brooks: James Olsen won't violate bro code to date Kara

Jenner is scheduled to appear in multiple Supergirl episodes beginning in early 2016.

It's great for Benoist to get to hang with her husband at work, and for Kara to have someone to distract her from James' (Mehcad Brooks) knock-out ex (Jenna Dewan-Tatum). However, it's time to pour one out for Winn (Jeremy Jordan), who just got bumped to the very dull corner of this love square. There's surely someone out there for you too, buddy.

Supergirl airs Mondays at 8/7c on CBS.
