There's good news and bad news for TV fans. The good news? UPN, home of WWF Smackdown (pictured), is sticking around for at least another season. The bad news? Well, UPN is sticking around for at least another season. According to Variety, the struggling network — which was considered dead after News Corp (owner of Fox) snagged eight of its affiliates last year — signed a deal that ensures its survival at least through the 2001-2002 TV season. Phew, that was a close one.
