What Does George Lucas Think of the Newest Star Wars Film?

The trailer for the highly anticipated Star Wars film might've attracted more than 45 million viewers on You Tube, but George Lucas wasn't one of them.When asked what he thought of the teaser, Lucas shockingly told the New York Post, "I don't know anything about it. The trailer for the highly anticipated Star Wars film might've attracted more than 45 million viewers on You Tube, but George Lucas wasn't one of them.
When asked what he thought of the teaser, Lucas shockingly told the New York Post, "I don't know anything about it. I haven't seen it yet."

Why? "Because it's not in the movie theater. I like going to the movies and watching the whole thing there. I plan to see it when it's released," Lucas explained.

The movie, which will be released next December, was directed by J.J. Abrams. While Lucas was involved with all previous installments in the series (he directed the original and the last three), he's not a part of this one. As for whether or not he's interested to see what Abrams does with his baby, Lucas told the paper, "Not really."
