Screenwriter David Koepp — the scribe behind Spider-Man — has agreed to pen the first draft of the upcoming sequel, Variety reports. Smallville execs Alfred Gough and Miles Millar, who were initially tapped to write the script, will remain with the project — taking Koepp's first draft and "working from there," says Columbia chairman Amy Pascal.
