CBS pulls the long-running adventure series from its fall lineup
Survivor won't be back on air in time for the fall.
In a newly released schedule of its fall lineup, CBS revealed Tuesday that Season 41 of the long-running adventure reality series won't be ready for the 2020-21 season as hoped. Production on the series, set to go forth in Fiji, was stalled, like so many others, back in March. In a statement, CBS said producers "are continuing to work with officials in Fiji on the appropriate time to start production on its next edition, with health and safety matters the top priority for everyone involved."

This change makes Survivor the first show to be pulled from the fall lineup after broadcasters released their ambitious plans for getting back to normal in recent weeks. In its place, The Amazing Race will now air Wednesdays at 8 p.m., moving up an hour. Seal Team will now air at 9 p.m., and SWAT, originally scheduled for midseason, will now air Wednesdays at 10 p.m.
