Sirensis gearing up to go back on duty.

The USA comedy has added Saturday Night Live veteran Brian Doyle-Murray for its upcoming second season, TVGuide.com has learned.

The best SNL cast members of all time

Doyle-Murray will play Monsignor Sullivan, a priest from Johnny's childhood who lends an ear during a time of emotional turmoil. Problem is, Monsignor Sullivan still suspects Johnny (Michael Mosley) as the culprit in a theft from the poor box almost 20 years ago.

In addition to serving as "Weekend Update" anchor, Doyle-Murray earned three Emmy nominations for his work writing for SNL in the late '70s and early '80s. His big-screen credits include memorable turns in Groundhog Day, Caddyshack  and Wayne's World, among many others. He currently stars on TBS' Sullivan & Son. (Fun fact! He's also Bill Murray's brother.)

Sirens is slated to return early next year on USA.
