Soon, Yellowstone won't be the only wild thing taking up real estate on Paramount. Variety reports that the network has given the go-ahead for a series adaption of the 2000 film Sexy Beast, which starred Ray Winstone alongside Hollywood heavyweights Ben Kingsley and Ian McShane.

The film centered on Gal Dove (Winstone), a thief who is seduced into the vibrant London criminal world during the tumultuous '90s. It followed his burgeoning relationship with the infamous gangster Don Logan (Kingsley) and the origins of his partnership with the criminal mastermind Teddy Bass. His world is also thrown into disarray when he falls in love with a porn star named DeeDee (Amanda Redman) who eventually becomes his wife.

The TV series will reportedly focus on Gal Dove's origin story.

Michael Caleo, whose credits include Rescue Me and The Sopranos, will pen the script and serve as showrunner of the 10-episode first season. Meanwhile, Karyn Kusama has signed on to direct. Sexy beasters will be thrilled to learn that Louis Mellis and David Scinto, who wrote the film, will also produce the upcoming project.
