Watch the Original Sabrina Cast React to Chilling Adventures of Sabrina

They're just as terrified as you are!

Keisha Hatchett

The cast of Sabrina the Teenage Witch sat down to watch Chilling Adventures of Sabrina and their reactions to Netflix's twisted take on the iconic characters will probably make your day.

Created by Riverdale's Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, Chilling Adventures of Sabrina is a coming-of-age story based on the comics of the same name that mixes horror and the occult with a little Riverdale camp thrown in for good fun. Mad Men's Kiernan Shipka takes over for Melissa Joan Hart as Sabrina, a teenage girl who must contend with her identity as a half-mortal and a half-witch while confronting evil forces that threaten her and her family. The series also stars Ross Lynch as Harvey, Richard Coyle as Father Blackwood, Lucy Davis as Aunt Hilda and Miranda Otto as Aunt Zelda.

While Melissa Joan Hart is fond of the new series, she admits it might be too scary for her children in the video above. "I am not letting my kids watch this. They'd probably like this better, but I don't think I'll let them know about it just yet," Joan Hart explains.

"It's terrifying, this show," says Caroline Rhea, who starred as Hilda on the ABC series. Adds Beth Broderick, who played her sister Zelda, "It's really scary. I don't think I can watch it alone."

Chilling Adventures of Sabrina did cast quite a spell on Nate Richart, who played Harvey in the 1996 series. The actor professed his admiration for Ross Lynch, who plays Sabrina's fated love interest in this new iteration. "He's dreamy," Richard declares.

Chilling Adventures of Sabrina is now available to stream on Netflix.
