The Big Dog is back in action.

Roman Reigns returned to the ring onMonday Night Rawand announced that his leukemia is officially in remission.

Reigns, whose real name is Leati Joseph "Joe" Anoaʻi, appeared on the show on Monday to announce his good news, telling the cheering crowd, "So, when I tell you this, I'm so grateful and I'm so humbled and I'm so honored to announce this. [...] The good news is, I'm in remission." And after enjoying an uproarious round of applause at the news, he got back into character to proclaim, "The Big Dog is back!"

After the show, Reigns posted a personal video on social media to express his gratitude to fans and family for their support through his diagnosis and treatment.

"I'm back. I didn't get enough. I said it before, I'm gonna say it a lot: Thank you. And I didn't get a chance because I'm not gonna lie, I was nervous. And it was overwhelming just to hear the response and they actually cheered me, crazy," he said. "But I just want to say -- I hugged the hell out of her out there, but I just want to say thank you to my mom, thank you to my family, thank you to my children. Most of all, thank you to my wife, along with everybody else who sent their support and prayers. I don't feel like I would be in this position or feeling this good without all of you guys. So, one more time -- it's not the last time, but it's one more time -- thank you."

Reigns had previously announced his condition in October. He'd first been diagnosed with leukemia at the age of 22 but had been in remission for 11 years prior to the cancer's return.

Appearing on Good Morning America Tuesday, Reigns said that returning to the ring was the step that it took for his "journey" to wellness to "feel complete."

Monday Night Raw airs Mondays at 8/7c on USA Network.
