Kordell Stewart Files for Divorce from Real Housewives' Porsha Williams

Porsha Williams' life isn't so picture perfect after all. The Real Housewives of Atlanta star's husband Kordell Stewart filed for divorce on Friday, TMZ reports.
The couple married on May 21, 2011, and do not have a prenup. The reality star explained the decision on BravoTV's blog: "In my opinion a marriage is a sacred union between two people coming together as one with love being that foundation — being one in mind, body, and spirit. ... We have the same beliefs when it comes to God and how WE have our purpose shown to us by God. So through bonding with him in mind, body, and spirit there is no place for a piece of paper to stand between us."

The couple's marriage generated a lot of controversy during Williams' debut season on Real Housewives this year, with viewers calling Stewart too controlling. While Stewart has a son from a previous relationship, the couple had no children together. Williams was often vocal about starting a family and having a career, but Stewart insisted that she choose between the two.Only four days before Stewart filed for divorce, Williams appeared on Watch What Happens: Live,where she defended their relationship.
