Every show on both networks hit series lows versus NBC's Sunday Night Football (15.4 million, 5.8) and Fox's coverage of Game 1 of the ALCS between the Detroit Tigers and Boston Red Sox (8.3 million, 2.8). Once Upon a Time (7.4 million, 2.3) was the top-rated scripted show of the night, dropping 12 percent, and was the only one to break the 2.0 rating.

Lead-outs Revenge (6 million, 1.7) slipped two tenths, while Betrayal (3 million, 0.9) slumped 18 percent.On CBS, The Amazing Race (8.1 million viewers, 1.8) and The Good Wife (8.4 million, 1.2) both fell 25 percent, and The Mentalist's big wedding episode (9.4 million, 1.3) fell two tenths.
