Here's some not-so good news, Human Beings: Community returned down for its fifth season premiere Thursday.
The NBC comedy's first episode drew 3.7 million viewers and a 1.3 in the adults 18-to-49 demographic, down six tenths from last season's opener, but it was on par with its May finale. The second episode bagged 3 million and a 1.2.

Community tied Parenthood (4 million, 1.3) as NBC's highest-rated shows of the night, as Sean Saves the World (2.8 million, 0.8) and The Michael J. Fox Show (2.5 million, 0.8) both dipped.
CBS led the way, powered by The Big Bang Theory (19 million, 5.3), which grew two tenths from its last new episode. The rest of its lineup also improved several tenths.
On ABC, the Season 2 premiere of The Taste (4.7 million, 1.2) was down almost a full point from its series premiere, which was on a Tuesday. The Assets bombed with 3.8 million and 0.7.
