PRAIRIE STAYS HOME

Although Garrison Keillor recently revealed he was seeking a new home for his long-running public-radio program, A Prairie Home Companion, the humorist now confirms that about a dozen shows from the 2006-07 season will, in fact, originate from the Fitzgerald Theater in St. Paul, Minn., the show's host city since 1992. Explaining the decision to stay put, Keillor told the Associated Press that people he would meet every day "said it would be terrible if the show were not in St. Paul. I listen to people who tug at my sleeve."
