The bad news is Orphan Black won't return for several long, cold months. The good news is the show is adding some great talent to its expanding roster for Season 3.

James Frain and Justin Chatwin will join Lost Girl alum Ksenia Solo as part of the show's highly anticipated third season, BBC America announced Tuesday.

Frain, who most recently appeared on BBC America's Intruders, will guest star as Ferdinand, an intelligent, charming, intimidating "cleaner." He's described as being a "powerful player in a secretive, multi-national political faction that operates with questionable ethics and a ruthless approach." Frain has made a habit of playing ruthless bad guys, so this sounds right up his alley.

Chatwin, who's most recognizable as Jimmy/Steve from Showtime's Shameless, will appear as a savvy drug dealer and businessman named Jason Kellerman. He's described as having rugged good looks and street-smarts. I call dibs.

Solo joins the cast as Shay, "a soulful and compassionate holistic healer with a great sense of humor." She'll eventually befriend Cosima, one of the many clones portrayed by star Tatiana Maslany. Solo starred as fan-favorite Kenzi on four seasons of Lost Girl, which also films in Toronto.

Kyra Harper (Warehouse 13) and Earl Pastko (Murdoch Mysteries) will also appear as Dr. Coady, a ruthless doctor and advisor to the military, and Bulldog, Ferdinand's violent personal bodyguard, respectively.

Orphan Black returns to BBC America in spring 2015.
