Maria (Jessica Pimentel) has gone full mob boss on Orange Is the New Black.
After getting an extra three to five years tacked on to her sentence, Maria threw all caution to the wind and started moving drugs through the prison. But in Season 5, her leadership might take a violent turn.
If (and it's just an if at this point) the Season 5 premiere picks up right where Season 4 left off, it's a safe bet to assume that the conclusion of the final Season 4 scene has already been filmed. Unfortunately, we'll have to wait a year to find out what happens in that hallway - but even though it's Daya (Dascha Polanco) who's holding C.O. Humphrey (Michael Torpey) at gunpoint, we've gotten some info that suggests it'll be Maria who makes the final call.
"If you're a boss, you don't get your hands dirty ever," Pimentel tells us. "So [for Maria], it's like, 'Oh, damn, I'd like to shoot that guy. Daya, pick that [gun] up. I'm never going to get my hands dirty.' ... [Maria] has no reason to live at this point."
