Oprah Winfrey has a dream interview in mind — and it would certainly boost her network's flagging ratings.
"I have a dream of O.J. Simpson confessing to me," Winfrey said at the National Cable and Telecommunication Association conference. "I want the interview on the condition that you are ready, Mr. Simpson. And I am going to make that happen, people."
She also candidly spoke at the convention about how she might've handled the start of OWN differently, conceding that she wasn't able to fully commit to it. "I was all in with one foot out the door," she says, referring to the final season of her syndicated show.
Winfrey says she's ready to commit now. "It's everything I have. Myself, my heart, the soul and spirit of me, my company — dedicated to the vision of OWN. I wouldn't bet against me," she said.
OWN, which debuted Jan. 1, has struggled to match its predecessor Discovery Health's ratings. Last month it was down in adult viewership by 24 percent as compared to Discovery Health's numbers in May 2010.
