A Night Out With the Boys of Revenge

Not an episode of Revenge goes by without at least one shocking backstab or well-played plan. It's no surprise, then, that game playing comes naturally to the three hunks who have spent the last two seasons competing for Emily Thorne's (Emily VanCamp) attentions on ABC's addictive drama.

Over beers, rounds of darts and Rock 'Em Sock 'Em Robot at L.A.'s Little Bar, Nick Wechsler (Jack), 34, Josh Bowman (Daniel), 25, and Gabriel Mann (Nolan), 40, gave us a rare peek inside their private worlds — while offering a few teasers about what's to come as Season 2 nears its climax.

TV Guide Magazine: Do you guys often hit the bar after work?

Wechsler: We used to more often during the first season, but then people kind of paired off.

Bowman: I moved here from England a year before the show started and was a lonely guy before these two became my new family.

Mann: Awww. Josh's best friend was Xbox.

Bowman: And PlayStation.

TV Guide Magazine: Where do you hang now?

Mann: At each other's places.

Wechsler: Mostly Em's. Emily has the best place.

Bowman: You guys have to come to my place for a housewarming — a year late, I know.

Wechsler: I'm ashamed of my place. I need to do a lot of work on it.

Mann: Nick's got other priorities. Like dodgeball. Josh and I are maybe the only two in the cast who haven't been to see him play.

Wechsler: Connor Paolo [Declan] has come to play. Ashton did too.

Bowman: Ashley Madekwe [Ashley] has played? No way!

Wechsler: No. Ashton...Holmes [who played the late Tyler]!

Bowman: Ah. Ashley would never! She'd be, "No, my nails!"

TV Guide Magazine: When you go out in public together, what kind of reaction do you get?

Bowman: People either love us or hate us.

Wechsler: I never get the hate. Generally, people don't approach you to tell you they don't like you!

Mann: Josh and I did make a trip to New York.  That was a madhouse.

TV Guide Magazine: Spill some details, please!

Bowman: No! [Laughs] We had some bonding. Partied a bit...

Mann: What happens in New York stays in New York.

TV Guide Magazine: So, which of you is the biggest party animal?

Bowman: We all love music and like to dance. I ebb and flow. I party and then I disappear. I can be a homebody. Emily's a super homebody. The least partier would be Nick.

Wechsler: I was born an old man.

Mann: None of us are ending up on Celebrity Rehab just yet.

Bowman: I've been reading a lot of books, and I used to be big into video games, but —

Wechsler: — Josh got a girlfriend. [Bowman and VanCamp have been dating since last year.

Bowman: Yeah, and then the game playing goes out the window! But I'm obsessed right now with The Walking Dead.

TV Guide Magazine: Speaking of the dead, Jack and Nolan are both in mourning following the recent deaths of their loves, Fauxmanda and Padma, respectively. Nick and Josh, can we expect you two to —

Wechsler: — finally get together?

Bowman: Jeez!

Mann: Will Jack and Nolan bond over the mutual deaths of our loves? I don't know. I can tell you Nolan definitely has a few crazy moments coming up.

TV Guide Magazine: Season 1 was all about Team Daniel vs. Team Jack. Who's got the edge now when it comes to winning Emily's heart?

Bowman: We have enough teams at the moment —

Mann: — for the World Series! By the way, Josh has a poker face on. Somebody might be putting a ring on it real soon.

Bowman: [Laughs] There's definitely a rekindled romance for Daniel and Emily. Emily is Daniel's objective. But now, if he does get her, it's about holding on to her. He's got to be sharper — and perhaps more controlling.

TV Guide Magazine: Viewers will soon be meeting Daniel's secret half brother. Any advice for the actor joining the show on how to blend into your boys club?

Mann: Pull off the brakes and have a great time.

Bowman: To be quite honest, we're a damn easy bunch. All so different, but connected in a deep, deep way.

Mann: Plus, the rest of this season is going to be immensely fun. If what we're hearing comes to fruition on the show, people are going to be biting their nails off all summer.

Revenge airs Sundays at 9/8c on ABC.
