Here's some news that will have '90s kids breaking out their Blue Barracudas t-shirts: Nickelodeon is making a live-action TV movie inspired by Legends of the Hidden Temple, the nostalgically beloved game show that originally aired from 1993 to 1995.
The TV movie will follow three siblings who ditch their jungle tour to do their own exploration of an ancient Mayan temple, and get caught up in a mission of obstacles they must complete if they're going to escape alive, according to a statement.
The movie will incorporate many things from the show, including Olmec, the talking stone head that knows the temple's secrets. Anyone who watched the show is already having flashbacks to the terrifying temple guards, who will also surely be appearing.
The Legends of the Hidden Temple movie will star Isabela Moner and begin production later this month.
