NEW GIG FOR PAULA?

American Idol exec producer Nigel Lythgoe is talking to Paula Abdul about joining his newest reality competition, Fox's upcoming So You Think You Can Dance. "There's a little idea that I think would be fabulous for her," he shares. "She loves it, but we've just got to try to make it work dates-wise and everything else." After all, as TVGuide.com reported Wednesday, Lythgoe fully expects Corey Clark's alleged paramour to rejoin Simon Cowell and Randy Jackson at the judges' table for Idol's fifth season. "Certainly Simon is [returning]. And as far as I'm aware, Paula and Randy are as well," he tells us. "I have no problem with bringing the three judges back for next season." But bringing back scary Scott Savol in any way, shape or form? Noooo flippin' way, dude.
