Mega Buzz: Will The Mindy Project Finally Introduce Mindy's Parents?
Plus: Mindy has a big pregnancy problem!
The Castellanos are about to become old news on The Mindy Project!
After introducing Danny's estranged father (Dan Hedaya) and his judgmental mother (Rhea Perlman), the show has still yet to welcome Mindy's parents. But that will all change later this season when Mindy (Mindy Kaling) finally sets up a meeting between her baby daddy and the Lahiris.

Unfortunately, Mindy is left stumped when Danny (Chris Messina) stands up his baby's grandparents, leading Mindy to turn to none other than Peter (AdamPally) to figure out what to do. However, Mindy may have an even bigger problem to worry about when her doctor (guest star Laura Dern) diagnoses her with Preeclampsia, aka high blood pressure.
We're guessing Danny's no-show isn't exactly going to help with that problem!
