Maroon 5 is hitting the road again! The band is teaming up with Kelly Clarkson for a late summer tour with The Voice's Tony Lucca as an opening act, CBS News reports.
Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine coached Lucca to second place during Season 2 of the reality show.  PJ Morton and Rozzi Crane will also open at different points of the tour.

"We are very excited to team up with the Honda Civic Tour," Levine said in a statement. "Kelly, PJ, Rozzi and Tony are all such unique and amazing artists. I'm really looking forward to hitting the road with them. Each night will be a great night of music."In addition to hitting the road, Maroon 5 is preparing to release another album. "We're just getting started," guitarist James Valentine told The Associated Press. "We've got some great songs in the can. The stuff we're working on now, it definitely has gone maybe a little darker in its sound, maybe back a little bit more to what we kind of did on Songs About Jane. But at this point we do have all kinds of different songs and it is early."No word yet on whether the tour and album will impact Levine's involvement on The Voice, which has already seen original coaches Christina Aguilera and Cee Lo Green depart to focus on other projects.
