Margaret Atwood isn't done with The Handmaid's Tale just yet. There's a book sequel headed your way and it will finally answer some of those burning questions about Gilead.

Atwood dropped the news Monday that she's working on a followup to her celebrated novel, titled The Testaments, which takes place a decade and a half after Offred's final moments in the original book. "Everything you've ever asked me about Gilead and its inner workings is the inspiration for this book. Well, almost everything!" she teased.

She also revealed that the new book was inspired by the current world we live in and will feature narration from three different female characters. No word yet on whose perspective we'll follow in the sequel but here's hoping Testaments addresses exactly what led to Gilead's downfall and the world we glimpsed in the epilogue. Inquiring minds need to know!

Look out for the book in Sept. 2019.

In the meantime, you can stream the first two seasons of Hulu's adaption of The Handmaid's Tale now. Season 3, which will be more "rebellious" than the first two, is expected to arrive sometime in 2019.
