Madonna loves her husband, Guy Ritchie, very much, but the true loves of her life are herself and her career. So says her brother, Christopher Ciccone, in his new book, Life with My Sister Madonna, due out next Tuesday. In the book — an advanced copy of which was purchased by the AP — Ciccone says Madonna and Ritchie are "passionately committed" to staying married — despite reports to the contrary — and credits her Kabbalah religious beliefs with being a force in keeping the couple together. He also writes, "I hope it is Kabbalah's lesson that she is not the center of the universe."Madonna is at the center of rumors that she and Ritchie are on the outs and that she has struck up more than a friendship with New York Yankees star Alex Rodriguez — rumors she has flatly denied.Although Ciccone worked with Madonna on several of her projects in the '90s, he says the two are no longer close. — J.R.
