"LOVE SHACK" LOST

The Athens, Ga., joint that is widely thought to have inspired the B-52's hit "Love Shack" burned to the ground on Monday in what officials are calling a "suspicious" blaze. If it is of any comfort to fans of the quirky '80s band, at least one part of vocalist Kate Pierson's former home is said to have remained intact: the tin roof. Rusted, we presume.
