Millennials rejoice! A Lizzie McGuire revival movie could be headed to a screen near you!

Hilary Duff recently told Entertainment Tonight that she's heard rumblings of a revival movie for the Disney series that launched her career. "There's been some conversations," Duff said. "It's definitely not a go. I don't want to get everyone wild talking about it, but, I mean, I love her so much. I think she was so important to girls at an important time in their life. If she could be important to them again at this age, I think that would be amazing."

Lizzie McGuire is important to all people at all times girl; crimped hair or not!

Duff did caution that though a revival was a possibility, it also could be nothing, so guard your hearts before you dive right into dreaming about Lizzie's future. As for what that future would look like, Duff has a few ideas about where we'd find her character when and if this movie ever happens.

"There's been lots of conversations about that," Duff said ""I'm racking my brain. I don't think she's a mom yet, but she might be getting there soon?"

Hm, if she's getting around to having kids, we'd assume she's got a husband to be making those plans with, which is intriguing for so many reasons! Did she settle down with her childhood sweetheart, Gordo (Adam Lamberg)? Or did Ethan Craft (Clayton Snyder) finally get act together and ask her out?

This is why we need a movie! So many questions need answers!
