"My understanding from conversations with [Lohan's lawyer] Shawn Chapman Holleyis that Miss Lohan could be released early from the treatment facility," she said. "It is looking as if that is what the health care professionals are going to recommend."Lohan entered UCLA Medical Center immediately following her release from jail on Aug. 2. She served only 13 days of her 90-day sentence for violating her probation from a 2007 DUI case because of overcrowding and good behavior.

Meyers said she was unsure when Lohan would get out, but a release date is dependent upon recommendations of those who are treating her. Lohan, 24, may also have to undergo "follow up treatment," she said.On Friday's Today, Lohan's mother, Dina Lohan, also told Matt Lauer that her daughter is likely to be released early now that Judge Marsha Revel, who sentenced Lohan, has removed herself from the case. Accusing Revel of "going overboard" and "playing hardball" with her sentence, Dina Lohan said information will come out next week showing that Revel removed herself because she was about to get fired.

Lindsay Lohan taken to jail — but how much time will she really serve?

Lohan is doing "great" in rehab, Dina said, adding that she believes this treatment will stick. Lohan previously entered rehab in 2007. "I'm certainly not condoning drinking and driving, but she's still paying the price from 2007 until now," she said. "She's changed. She's grown up considerably."Lohan has been on probation since August 2007 after pleading guilty to drug charges and no contest to three driving-related charges. She previously spent 84 minutes in jail in 2007. In July, Lohan was found in violation of her probation after missing seven alcohol-education classes during a 27-week period.Upon her release from rehab, Lohan — who befriended alleged murderers in jail, Dina said — will move back to her native New York.
