Season 4 of The Hills premiered Monday night, but Lauren Conrad is already looking towards the end - of the series.

"The show is definitely reaching its end," Conrad told the New York Post's Pop Wrap. "It's been so amazing and I've loved most of it, but I think there is going to come a time where I need to live my life for myself and not in front of viewers."

Though reality TV has brought her fame and fortune, the 22-year-old concedes "it's not something I am going to be able to do forever, obviously."

Tell that to her frenemies.

While Conrad is ready to bid adieu, Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt are ready to get upgraded to lead status.

"We're not even remotely sick of it," Montag, 21, said on Ryan Seacrest's KIIS-FM radio show.

The couple says MTV has not cancelled the series, but should LC ultimately decide to call it a day for herself, Speidi will be more than happy to inherit her narrating duties.

" The Hills Season 10 is what I'm going for," Pratt, 25, said. - Joyce Eng
