Donald Trump's Fox News boycott is water under the bridge, so much so that he'll be joining the network's New Year's Eve celebration during the 11 o'clock hour to help ring in 2016. TVGuide.com talked to The Five co-host Kimberly Guilfoyle, who is hosting the channel's New Year's Eve special, about which other 2016 candidates will be stopping by.

What part of the show are you most excited for?

I'm super-excited to be co-hosting with Eric Bolling, who's also my co-host on The Five. We have great rapport and chemistry together. I know we're both looking forward to ringing in the New Year with Donald Trump. We're thrilled that he's chosen Fox as the exclusive to do the New Year's Eve special with. We're really excited. He'll be joining us from Mar-a-Lago [Trump's estate in Palm Beach, Fla.]. It's going to be a great way to start off 2016. I've been part of the New Year's Eve special before, but this is gonna be my first year officially co-hosting. It's going to be fun.

Is Trump going to be doing the countdown with you?

Yes, that's the idea. Ringing in 2016. We're going to make New Year's and America great again. We've got the big interview with Trump, and we're going to be joined by a number of 2016 candidates, so we're excited about that too.

Which other candidates?

Ben Carson is coming on, Carly Fiorina, and we have participation and shoutouts from almost all the 2016 contenders.

And it's all happening at theKnickerbocker Hotel in Times Square. That was recently restored, correct?

Yeah, it's a historic hotel that underwent a beautiful renovation to get it back to its glory. We're really excited about it. It's going to be a fantastic night. There's nothing like the feeling of being in Times Square for New Year's Eve. It's such a great rush. You feel like the whole world is there. People from all over the world coming to celebrate together.

Winter TV: Must-see new shows

Are you taking any extra security precautions? I know you're going to have a security reporter contributing.

Yes, we're going to have security reports from Rick Leventhal, who's a fantastic Fox News correspondent. And I know there are going to be about 6,000 NYPD officers down in Times Square. It's always very safe and secure. I've seen them do such a good job in the past. The NYPD, they're the finest in the world. We're in good hands in the Big Apple.

With Donald Trump, there's always a possibility something controversial happening. What will you do, how will you react, if he says something sexually inappropriate to you, for example?

Oh, I'm not worried about that at all. I don't consider him to be a sexist or anything like that. I'm not even going to go there. I know the Trump family personally, his kids and grandkids, and they're a fantastic family. I'm thrilled to have him join us on New Year's Eve. I just interviewed him again when I was filling in for Greta Van Susteren. Bolling and I are excited to have him and all the other great guests on the show. We invited Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders to come on too, but we're still waiting to hear back!

Fox News' All-American New Year airs Thursday, Dec. 31 starting at 9/8c.
