KATRINA CD DUE SOON

The four major recording labels, Concord Music Group and the Recording Industry Association of America are teaming for a double-disc CD to benefit victims of Hurricane Katrina, reports Billboard.com. Due out in mid-November, Hurricane Relief: Come Together Now will feature contributions from such acts as Coldplay, Fats Domino, Barbra Streisand, Dave Matthews Band and Elton John but, in keeping with the whole relief theme, no Ashlee Simpson.
