Actor and hunk o' man John Stamos is no stranger to being surrounded by screams from adoring fans, but he's about to get an earful of screams of another kind. The Full House star has booked a major role on the second season of Fox's Scream Queens.

The series, a campy anthology horror, was created by Glee's Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk and Ian Brennan and follows a new gruesome tale in a new location each season. In Season 2, Scream Queens moves to a hospital, where some of the world's most bizarre and fascinating medical cases are under watch.

Stamos will play Dr. Brock Holt, the hospital's genius head surgeon who is holding some big secrets and probably a backlog of malpractice suits. Stamos joins Season 1's returning cast members Jaime Lee Curtis, Emma Roberts, Lea Michele, Abigail Breslin, Keke Palmer, Glen Powell and Niecy Nash.

The casting keeps Stamos in the Fox family after last season's Grandfathered, which was canceled after one season. Stamos previously worked with Murphy on Glee and The New Normal.

Do you think Stamos will make it out of Season 2 alive?
