Jessica Simpson to Sell Beer

The next best Simpson after Homer will be selling beer. Jessica Simpson has added Stampede Light Plus beer from Stampede Brewing Co. in Dallas to a long list of products in her endorsement arsenal. Simpson, who also lent her name to Proactiv, Pizza Hut and her own line of shoes, will appear in ads in stores for the beer and will take a 15 percent stake in the brewery, The Associated Press reports.The 28-year-old singer-actress didn't reveal whether she enjoys beer or this one in particular, but did mention that she's "always looking for ways to diversify my portfolio" — and apparently, that includes hops and barley.
