Jennifer Hudson will mark her return to the spotlight on the biggest stage of them all — the Super Bowl.

The Oscar winner will sing the national anthem at the annual Holy Grail of sports, the NFL announced Wednesday.

The Feb. 1 performance in Tampa, Fla. will be Hudson's first public appearance since the killings of her mother, brother and nephew in October. Her estranged brother-in-law, William Balfour, has been charged with murder in connection to the deaths.

Hudson is also scheduled to perform five days later at the Grammys' MusiCares event. She is up for four Grammys, including Best R&B Album for her eponymous debut, Best Female R&B Vocal Performance, Best R&B Song for "Spotlight" and Best R&B Performance by a Duo or Group With Vocals for her duet with fellow American Idol alum Fantasia, "I'm His Only Woman."
