Jenna Bush Hager Names Her New Baby Girl After Her Grandfather

Jenna Bush Hager has welcomed her second baby girl, Poppy Louise Hager, Todayannounced on Friday.

Poppy was born Thursday in New York City and is named after her great-grandfather.

"Poppy is named after Jenna's grandfather, George Herbert Walker 'Poppy' Bush, aka Gampy," Hager Bush and her husband, Henry Hager, told Peoplein a statement. "His nickname growing up was Poppy, and we are proud to name her after a man we so adore. Louise is in honor of our grandmothers' middle names, Louise and Lewis. Mom and Poppy are healthy and well."

"We are in LOVE," the new mom and Today correspondent added in an Instagram post.

Poppy joins 2-year-old Margaret Laura, nicknamed Mila, who is named after her grandmothers.
